I’m love with my wonderful clients this year. Lenore and Blaine came all the way from Louisiana to Vail to start the rest of their life together. I have to say, I never had a more relaxed bride and groom than Lenore and Blaine in my entire  career as a wedding photographer. No surprise for anyone when Blaine went for a downhill ride with his Mountainbike 2 hours before the ceremony. Everyone was just a great pleasure to work with. This time I was guarded by my second photographer Jarrod Renaud. You have to check him out. Thank you again to Lenore and Blaine for having me as your photographer at your wedding.

Let me say right from the start, this wedding was incredible – full of love, it was colorful, full of friendship and romance. Raquel and Robert I’m so thankful that you made me a part of your special day and gave me the opportunity to create so many wonderful memories. That’s why this blog post is so gigantic. I feel every photos shows my fun that I had that day.

Raquel and Robert picked the perfect place for their beautiful wedding the Lazy Horse Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado. Raquel went all the way to Ireland to find her perfect match Robert. And Robert brought his family and a lot of his irish friends to the wedding. After I photographed a wedding in Ireland in 2013, it was great experience the irish culture again here on Colorado ground. Man these irish people can celebrate. A big Thank You to Mark Paquette from Mark Christopher Weddings and Events. Mark and his team did a fabulous job and made my job so easy. Also a big thank you to Bill Yaeger my second photographer at this wedding.

Hey, I’m Hardy.

Just a little about the tall German behind the camera… In 2003, I followed my heart and moved from Germany to the United States to be with my sweet and tenacious wife Tammy.

I’m a true fan of Nutella, but only the one made in Germany (because there is a difference). For some reason I love the way it feels to write with a fountain pen, but I also have a minor technology obsession, especially if it has a glowing Apple, or the red dot with the name Leica on it.

Feel free to contact me at hardy@hardyklaholdphotography.com or call me at 720.936.8076 if you’d like to talk about my photos or the differences between U.S. and German Nutella.
